Tiles provide a means of altering the landscape of the board to your advantage... as long as you're the one placing them!
Tiles provide a means of altering the landscape of the board to your advantage... as long as you're the one placing them! These movable spaces can be placed anywhere on the board - on top of spaces, on top of other Tiles, and even underneath players. Build a bridge connecting two points! Place a web trap down to screw over your friends! Build towering monoliths, destroy portions of the board, and even open up a gateway to another... gateway.
Example Tile Cards
Tiles enter the game when enabled by cards. The most plentiful of these is Tile!, which lets you draw a Tile and place it on the board, or move one that is already in play. There are also cards that affect all the Tiles on the board, cards that remove Tiles, and Powerups that give you dominion over Tiles.
Goal Markers Are Not Tiles
Remember, kids - although they are also square shaped, Goal Markers are not Tiles.
Cards and rules that apply to Tiles in no way affect the Goal Markers on the board. These pieces are used purely to keep track of what the goal is.
