The Cards

There are three types of cards in the game: Actions, Badges, and Powerups. Read on to see some specific examples of each.

There's nothing like the experience of drawing from the massive deck of more than 100 cards that come with Mr. Game! These cards can either give you incredible abilities or utterly crush your soul. They can give you secret powers that change the face of the game or do absolutely nothing. They can perform feats that make your victory seem inevitable or impossible. And the best part is... you never know what you'll get!

There are three types of cards in the game: Actions, Badges, and Powerups. Read on to see some specific examples of each.

Actions

Actions are the bread and butter of Mr. Game! They can be identified by their distinctive blue color and the lightning bolt symbol in the top right corner. These cards are played immediately when drawn, and they are discarded after being played. The deck is mostly comprised of Actions.

Badges

Badges are the only secret cards in the game. They are red in color and have a shield symbol in their top right corner. When you draw a Badge, you keep it concealed. You may then play your Badge at any point in the game, regardless of whose turn it is. Like Actions, these cards are discarded after being played.

Powerups

Powerups modify how your piece behaves by giving you an ability... or taking one away! Powerups are green and have an arrow symbol at the top right corner of the card. These cards go into play immediately when drawn, and they aren't discarded after being played. You'll retain your Powerup until you either roll doubles, or the effects of another card take it from you. Not all of these are beneficial though, so watch out!
